I have tried very hard before, for the sake of the kids. I always took them to see her. she had no car, no job, was on drugs, lived in a shelter, just a mess. I raised her 3 daughters and loved them like my own. I gave her money to do things with the girls, against my husbands orders not to. And found out years later she was trying to destroy out marriage thinking he would take her back, I always try for the sake of the kids . they are most important when dealing with an Ex. ♥j

not very, neither does my boyf. His ex girlfriend is a psycho.
We moved house to get away from her
She even slept with his dad (trying not to laugh here as its so jerry springer!!) to try and get back at him.
Now we just dont speak to her or my boyfs dad.
We got an harrasment order slapped on her...she used to keep coming round and causing chaos and dumping their son on our doorstep(not that we dont want to take him in but as we had very little room at last house a bit of notice him coming would of been nice)
shed leave him on the doorstep and knock on the door and actually run like a little kid up to the pub b4 we could answer then come back bladdered.what a scumbag.

It has to be an "or not" as the case is. Except for a sister-in-law, most are lost or really gone. The kid's stepparent is okay, living apart. Kid also is an adult now, living apart.

My husband was only with his wife a few years, they had kids and they treat me very well. In fact my beautiful step daughter even told me if she had picked me off the shelf in the supermarket, she'd be delighted with her purchase. Her children and my step sons children, all call me grandma.
I occasionally chat with his first wife on the phone, and she came to our sons' and hubbies parents funeral. So I suppose you could say we all get on very well. x

i really don't have that problem. his ex's are in Turkey so i haven't met them. my ex husbands girlfriend has a case of the ex wife syndrome, but i find her nice enough. she's good to my kids and that's all that matters

It's chemically impossible for the women in that situation to get along. You know, the oil and water don't mix thing.

I don't....i avoid her as much as possible, i know one day there will be a huge confrontation..... as she speaks before she thinks and is constantly getting in arguments with people and losing.

actually i wouldn't even consider it family. the woman married the man, not the whole world. that part of his or her's life is over.
