Here's a surprise: It can a be a real or a fictional language!

For me

Real
1. Japanese. I just find it pretty cool. (That and I'd no longer have to worry about getting fansubs and scanlations XD)
2. Latin (I'm not really sure why I find it interesting, maybe it's because I'm Roman Catholic ^^')

Fictional
1. Elvish (they say it's deeply connected with magic)
2. Cybertronian (I just looove the way it sounds)

Spanish and Chinese. If I knew those two languages, I could talk to about everyone, since those are the 2 most common languages along with English. Sign Language and Braille could also be helpful, if that counts.
(I do take Spanish classes in school, yes, but I couldn't have a decent conversation with someone in Spanish or anything. The most I could do would be, "Hola! Buenos dias! Como esta usted? Igualmente, adios amigos!!!")

I wish I could speak Albanian because I work with a bunch of Albanians and I wish I could understand what they are saying (without them knowing that I knew).

Lithuanian, Russian, German or Polish so I could talk to a guy at work who speaks all of those fluently but isn't so great in English.

I do know Latin. Studied it through high school and college. Great for standardized test scores!
