Not the world but the present society would crumble by 2012. Everything in the cosmic system comes full circle! The end of the present era is expected round 2014 when Bhagwan Kalki an Avatar of the era (god manifest in human form) would surface on Mother Earth.

If annihilation of 1200 million people means end of the world... then the end of the world shall definitely occur around 2012 when mankind witnesses the fiercest nuclear war of the era... a fight to the finish between Christianity and Islamic Dharma.

Unable to practice forgiveness, patience, persistence and perseverance... both these religions would practically annihilate themselves in the coming world war 3. The end of a Kali Yuga (the darkest hour of the era) always occurs like this.

About 3600 years before during the times of Lord Krishna... situation was almost similar! The advent of Lord Krishna... an Avatar of that era resulted primarily to re-establish Dharma (righteousness) and root out lawlessness forever!

In the coming times world shall witness abysmally high percentage of icecaps melting, rise in sea waters by about 10 to 12 feet, almost thousand feet high waves becoming common... coastal belts world over completely demolished about 30 to 50 kilometers inroads.

The intensity of world war 3... Almost inconceivable by mankind would change the thinking of mankind forever. A pot of gold lying in the backyard would not find a claimant. Beyond 2014 the world shall witness the golden era... Satyuga in Hinduism!

End forever... Of the world of make-believe... the society would witness changed human values! God only knows when the world will end but i think it will eventually end someday in the future considering Pollution, Global Warming, Wars etc. etc.
There was a time when year 2000 was approaching & there were Rumours the Nostradamus had predicted that the world will end on 31st Dec 1999 but nothing happened.
So there is no clue as to when the world will end.
There r predictions and calculations but who knows if they stand correct or not.

I am a religious person and I believe that like the bible said the world will end and Jesus will come like a thief in the night. In the bible here was some signs. Stay faithful

- disease and war will increase greatly
- floods, earthquakes, and tornados and other stuff like that will happen often.
-Many people will dissapear.
-many people will blaspheme about them being Jesus



And Blake....If that was true don't you think that by 50 billion years humans would have evolved ( although i dont believe in evolution) or moved to another galaxy. The human race now is already trying to colonize on the moon in 50 billion years we'll be smart enough to move to another galaxy

If the world did not end with the beginning of the human race I should ask the question if a apple grows mold when does it end as well, better yet when a dog dies and maggots grow on it maybe it did not end.
Reword the question please, when will Humanity be unable to survive?
answer : why does it matter everyone dies and the 10 year old who gets hit by a car wont get a rocket mission to the moon.

there's no way we can tell. It all depends upon God's timing. He's still giving time and opportunity for mankind to change their ways.

The best thing to do is live your life to the fullest. Grab every important opportunity, faithfully execute and complete your duties..always bear in mind the welfare of others. And keep in mind that life here on earth is just the backstage. We'll take the center stage in God's presence with nothing to worry, even "when the world will end".

Scientists say that the world will end in 50 BILLION YEARS from now on. That means when our Great x 110 grandchildren will give birth to their children...thats when the world will be engulfed by the sun.
The sun will explode in 50 billion years and kill every living thing on/in the Galaxy.

No one knows this. Of course it will end one day, when our star will die. But before that time has come, I think it's best to say our world will never end.
