To keep us believing that this country is getting out of control in order for them to tell us how they will fix all of these so called ills and keep us voting for them?
(like allowing the press to print garbage about crime stats, prison conditions and other matters of public interest and concern?)
Why are people sucked in by this?

I couldn't help but wonder whether all these killings on the news recently were EXTRA killings, or whether the press had just been reporting more of them. Hm...

Its very simple. When people can't find work they commit crimes. Ninety-nine % of the population would not do crimes that would send them to prison if they had a job they could survive on. White collar crime falls into the one % and they slap those people on the wrist. Give everybody a liveable wage at work and crime would drop like a rock. Set an example of the white collar criminals.
