Sometimes I am. Though I try not to think about it. Especially thinking about death of my loved ones, because then I tend to spiral down

Statement or Question...

Not afraid of death, as such. But fearful of the manner in the way it is met.

Presently, I have two (as it were) time-bombs ticking away inside me which require surgery I'll not have until the balance of 'surviving the surgery' grows greater than the 'chances of not surviving the aneurysm problem(s.'

Should the 'aneurysm problem' arrive, then I'll know by the 'excruciating back pain.'

Surprisingly enough, I do not like pain and do not like the description of the painful process.

Thus ~ I am afraid ~ of the pain ('cause it bleedin HURTS).

I am not afraid of death it self, just of the unknown.

I am not afraid of death, but afraid to lose those whom I love. the reason might be this fact that we think it would not happen to ourselves but the truth is that everybody dies

I am not 'afraid' but I do fear suddenly going and leaving my
kids and the thought that they should go before me fills me with dread!! I try not to think about it cos I get depressed.
I do believe we all meet again and this is what keeps me going.

Who isn't?A journey in to an unknown is always full of anxiety and fear.Though as certain as birth, society does not prepare us to understand death and accept it as we do birth and life.

everyone says no until they are really looking at it, it's easy to laugh death off as an abstract concept in your mind but when the possiblity is in your "here and now"....survival instinct can cause you a bit of stress. Just a bit.

are you?LOL

i know i sure am. mine and of those that i love.and the scariest part is that i can't avoid it or know it. but if i think like that more than 5 minutes i'll go kill myself. So my antidote is a big dose of oxygen in my lungs. it makes me feel ALIVE AND KICKIN'!
