I'm seeing this guy for almost a year & a half now. I love him wholeheartedly but I know his love towards me is not the same. This is due to his illness - he's afraid that I'll get hurt if his condition does not improve at all or will take a long time to get better.
His birthday will be in a couple of days' time and I want to do a love song or two (I sing and play the piano, though not professionally) to tell him how much i really love him and that I'll still be around him in whatever condition he is.
What's the best song ever (female singer, if possible)? Is there anyway to download in case we do not get to meet as he's been in and out of the hospital?

I started reading this and "The Gift" by Jim Brickman and Martina McBride came to mind. Granted its a duet, but its a beautiful song that can also be sang solo. Its a beautiful song to thank him for bein in your life and that you are thankful for him.
