I think you have it backwards.
A naked man in a movie, for example, is guaranteed an adult rating, but a naked woman can get a PG13 these days. Naked women are certainly considered to be SEXIER than naked men, but not vulgar.
A woman has to be extremely crude to be thought vulgar, but all a man has to do is show up. In our culture, men are automatically assumed to be vulgar. Here's the dictionary definition;

a. Crudely indecent.
b. Deficient in taste, delicacy, or refinement.
c. Marked by a lack of good breeding; boorish.

And it is very importand to be modest for both the man and the Women but in case of ur question why women consider more vulger than Naked man? the answer is simply that
By One women The Whole Generation Learns or educate Generation runs with women and if Women leaves her Modesty what aspect she leaves on the whole generation
Modesty for men is in his eyes and for women Modesty is in all her body so If women will leave her modesty What will man do .... Absolutely he attracts towards the female body and do sin ..... and from there the sinnest generation start
to For female Hide ur Body completely that none of ur bodypart seen except ur eyes to see the path for doing work
If u ill do so Man will automaticlaly be save from doing a sin and the whole generation will be saved ....

On what evidence do you base your assertion that a naked woman is considered more vulgar than a naked men?

Personally, I do not find the human body to be vulgar male or female.... Not to be exposed to the world, however, not vulgar. I did God did a fine job in his creation.... God bless****

wrong queston and assumption. actually vulgarity is in our mind. do you think animals look beautiful if they bore cloths, no it is not like this . every creature of god is beautiful. The difference in male and female body structure is social necessity to run the world. but nude woman is always looks beautiful.

I don't think it is considered vulgar. But I would just prefer people to leave their clothes on unless they are showering.
