Only if God exists can there be a purpose for life.

If you think God may exist, then your purpose is to seek Him for God must have put our great need for purpose into our human nature in order to get us to seek Him.
But if we reject God, then all we can do is to think of things to do that will make us feel good about ourselves. We then deceive ourselves into thinking that feeling good is our purpose so that we can make it through life until we can die.

It might feel good and positive if you work out what you think your purpose is.
All the same, the world's a complex place. Your real purpose in the grand scheme of things might be a completely different one that you're unaware of.
That is, if people have a purpose in life and it's not all random. :-)

My opinion is that person has a purpose, and they perform that purpose whether they are aware of it or not. Look for common patterns in your life so far is a start.

Purpose in life? I think we have a lot of purposes. It's our choice to pick which one to fulfill. And whether to fulfill it or not. Do you really believe you are destined for a purpose?
