only little jump, when my niece creep up behind me that give me little tap, then sayin that scared the **** out of me and didn't heard her coming in! never jump high u go.

They don't have to even say boo! I have a low startle threshold so unexpected sounds by a person makes me jump but not off the ground-just within myself. Having background noise (music for example) lessens my reaction a bit so I try to have that when I have company.

Depends on the situation.
For the most part
yes,
my 5 year old yells "Boo"
at me often...
and
I jump like he scared
me to pieces.

I don't jump unless they poke me in the ribs when they say boo.

Yes, and I just hate that!
So I've been jumping just high enough to impart a satisfyingly solid connection at the moment my sidekick and your spleen occupy the same place at the same time.Though their actual time together is short, the memory'll last and last.

1. Spookiness of the voice
2. Where the voice is coming from
3. Is it shouted instantly or moaned out?
4. And more importantly... the element of surprise ;)
