I am so (okay, scratch that) old to remember watching Care Bears, TMNT and Transformers on weekends.
I am so old that I still rock out to Metallica, Black Sabbath, Dio and GNR when I'm all alone at home! :p

I used to watch TV in Black & White... before shows like Star Trek that were in color... and I was there for the first time Star Trek ever aired on NBC (channel 4 here) on September 8th, 1966 ! I even had an original Howdy Doody puppet that I played with when I was a kid !!! I'm so old, that I rock out to the likes of Steppenwolf and Mountain, and I remember listening to the Jackson 5 and seeing them perform live on the Ed Sulivan Show !

Kennedy was shot.
Micheal Jackson ( Jackson Five) was a cartoon.
Speed Racer was my fav cartoon .
Our first TV was B and W
Getting slapped on the hand in school was OK.
White shirts and ties were mandatory for an assembly in
public school
Homework was hand written
Calculators weigh more than a brick
Cordless phones ment it was broken

I am so old I remember when a cell phone was as big as a shoe and you carried them in briefcases. $25 a minute!
I remember when blank VHS tapes were $11.00 a piece.
When the only store open 24 hours was
7-11, or Circle k.
There were no Drive thru's!

I'm so old that I was born in 1980... which isn't really old, but what the heck. I remember Pinwheel, You Can't Do that On Television, Small Wonder, and Hypercolor T-Shirts were cool when I was in middle school.
