DNA is the source of variation.
Without variation there would be no evolution.
DNA is a fairly conservative molecule and hence it provides stability to the characters of a population.
The manner of replication of this molecule distributes characters in offspring and its capability to mutate once in a while becomes the reservoir of variation upon which selection can act favorably or otherwise.

DNA is direbonuclicacid , which is like a biological foot print that holds one's identity in time. The change in the structure of the DNA is what is called biological evolution.
The latest techniques lilke the stem cell transplant can extend peoples life and in some case can make it last forever but that's just an evolution of science. A human body that contains the current number of chromosomes will become old and fade out & wont last forever, or even longer. If that the humab species adapts and stays longer, then it would have altered its DNA, and would practically wont be human any more but would have evolved into another species.

If u have a speech to give then talk on these :

1. What is evolution
2. What is DNA
3. All monkeys may be from different parts of the world have the same DNA structure.
4. Humans differ from monkeys by just 2 chromozomes

What ever it is conclude it bu saying that evolution is a means better survivability ie., to exist. the nature of every thing in nature is to survive.
Like the theory of conservation of momentum the theory of conservation of life " life has started & it will continue to exist and will in every way oppose the the external force that tries to bring it down"

1. DNA is at the root of inheritance and variation. And inheritance and variation are two of the three ingredients needed for natural selection (the third one being competition).

2. DNA provides the most compelling evidence for evolution ... even more compelling that the fossil evidence (which is already pretty compelling). In other words, even if not a single fossil had ever been found, the DNA evidence for evolution is overwhelming.

No. It merely shows that statements approximately "Junk DNA" being ineffective have been incorrect. it may recommend that there is somewhat much less info for evolution, yet it is not even on the brink of being info that actively contradicts evolution. i'm not even particular if that could count selection as not being info for evolution. Its prestige as info hinges upon the shown fact that it particularly is a hodgepodge of borrowed, copied, and mutated sequences... which it nonetheless is. the only exchange is that we now know that it is not ineffective. no count if it particularly is that substantial of a metamorphosis, all it calls for is that we regulate the thought somewhat, to house the recent information. in spite of everything, a scientific concept isn't some thing that we evaluate info to after which reject or settle for in its entirety. Its a consistently changing piece of paintings, representing a proof for what all of us know on the subject of the international. it particularly is replaced lots interior the previous one hundred fifty years, and it will easily exchange interior the subsequent one hundred fifty.

We need DNA to pass down our genes to our offspring, if we couldn't do that we couldn't evolve. the 3 ingredients for evolution is : 1: mutation 2:hereditary 3:selection, so without these 3 we wouldn't get very far!!!!
So, the importance of DNA in evolution is ESSENTIAL!

"deoxyribonucleicacid", actually.

DNA's mutation is what causes the small changes in an organism. When these changes are beneficial, the organism survives.
