Will they still experience growing pains or will they be on their way to stability? Do you think that the panel is now complete?

I think when ratings start to fall they will bring in someone to create more turmoil like they did with Rosie.

I wish they would have went with Sherri Sheppard instead of Whoopi Goldberg.

I think that it will be excellent. Both Sherry Shepherd and Whoopi will bring something to the show that has not been evidenced before. In the past, the group has not been held accountable for opinions. Hopefully, adding new life to the panel will offset some of the narrow mindedness and judgments that have been pervasive throughout the life of the show.

I think at the beginning it'll be good. The ratings will be high because people will tune in just to see how Whoopi does. THen they'll watch to see who replaces Elisabeth while she's on leave. After that, it'll go downhill. I wish Joy would leave. They still need a replacement for Star Jones. Barbara doesn't want to be on every day - just Fridays.

Nah- that show is going downhill. Especially when BW is on. People are supposed to be able to share their opinions, but BW has gotten so elitist that she is always after the panel if they say something about an advertiser or one of her really rich friends. I think Whoopi will be good, but we'll see how long she lasts before she gets fed up and leaves, too.

The show started losing it as soon as Meredith left and then Star, it has never been the same. I still enjoy watching from time to time but before I couldn't miss it and they need to get rid of Elizabeth she was the wrong choice

I'm so over the View. I used to schedule my lunch break around it. LOVED Meredith, always annoyed by Star but she was smart. Loved Joy.

The show is a drag now. It's all political and fighting and lame. I can't imagine Whoopie is what the show needed. They need grown ups who are not controversial, to make it a more watchable, pleasant show. Now it's like all hissy fights and just...yuck.

As long as that slob Rosie isn't there, it'll go great. I think Whoopi is a good addition. She wouldn't be my first choice, but remember, Baba Wawa is getting old and senile.

i don't think it will go very well. i don't think that people are very excited to see whoopi on television everyday. unless she can get herself into a lot if feuds, i think their ratings wont be as high as the past season.
