mmmm rooney is definitely overrated....he is the first choice striker at an attack minded man u team which scores goals consistently and YET rooney's goal to game ratio is very bad. it is like an average of one goal every FOUR games. his international record is just as bad. and he is always injured, isn he?

ronaldo, on the other hand is not overrated. he is an exciting winger possessing some of the best dribbling skills. he odesn jus run to the byeline and cross but he contributes a lot to the play also. he is quite a good header of the ball, and most importantly, he scores goals consistently for both club and country. without him, man u would never had finished first last season and portugal would average 0.0001 goal every game given their prolific strikeforce of, gomes?!

i don't think he's over rated and he would not place self assurance in Ronaldo in any respect. Rooney is the style of passionate participant and he can advance different gamers with that keenness and capability. He has had an unlucky twelve months with injuries, and has not been waiting to get as lots consistency going. God help his warring parties whilst he does. I look repeating myself in his protection. stupid as he would not choose protecting. If others won't be able to see his nicely worth and cost, then so be it.

Rooney is extremely overated because he is English.

Imagine if Rooney's nationality was Scotland-He wouldn't be treated or talked about any where near what it's like now.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, is only slightly overated-he is a class act.

Only an idiot Chelsea fan who is bitter his team only won secondary titles last year and saw Man Utd win the Premiership. Why don't I ask if Shevchenko or Ballack or Lampard are overrated?

ronaldo's not he had an amazing return of goals for a midfielder and also is one of the best header's in the game.

rooney is in 2004 he was great and one of are best players if not the best , but since then he has done little he doesn't score enough and spends all game moaning at the ref.

man u's best player is hargreaves though

when the hope of an entire nation in winning the last world cup was placed in the fragile shoulders/foot of a teenager (rooney), that's not what you call overrated.

when another youngster who doesn't play as a striker becomes a top scorer and playmaker and helped his club notch a 9th premiership trophy and reach the champions league semis (ronaldo), that's not what you call overrated.

rooney and ronaldo have the credentials to back up that they are genuine superstars of the game.

anyone???????..everyone thinks that way....

rooney could not score a single goal in 8 games in the mid of last season..and they say he is good..huh?

if u are the only striker in a team and cannot score 20 goals in one season even after playing most of the games...then u are not good enough

ronaldo is not because he is the current ledaering goalscorer so far at the world cup's so that means his not over-rated but he is not as good as he was once was
