Daughtry. The frontman is Chris Daughtry from season 5, and his elimination was probably the most shocking of that season. Or maybe because he lost his place to Katharine..but yep, it's Daughtry.

No band won american idol and the singer is Chris Daughtry and his cd is called "Daughtry" and no, he didn't win, but there's lots of us out there who believe he should have. He was clearly the best in Season 5, not Taylor Hicks. That was in 2006.Check out the cd, the whole thing is great. Its already gone double platinum.
