Years ago, I answered a personal ad, called this woman that seemed nice, we agreed to meet at a Chinese restaurant and then see a movie. Her name was April I think, and I kept calling her by that name and she didn't always respond right away. By the end of the evening she confessed that her friend had placed the ad, and had passed off promising leads to April if they were close to where April lived. So basically, I responded to the description of one woman and ended up dating another.

Yes the whole idea is to get know the person, I met them at a very public place and had someone drop me off and pick me up so they wouldn't know what car I drive just in case ;)
