I own a shop, and the easiest way is to put the emergency brake on tight, and spin the wheels by putting the gas pedal to the floor. You may have to do this in dirt to make it spin, but you should get the front wheels to spine if its front wheel drive. If this doesn't work, then apply the brake pedal, and push the gas pedal down again to make it spin. If it is rear wheel drive it should spin like crazy.
Drifting must be done with a rear wheel drive vehicle, and is best done with one that has a strong engine. Get in a large open place, turn the steering wheel sharp to one side, and hit the gas pedal at the same time. Once it begins to spin; try to keep the rear end of the vehicle from coming all the way around, and the vehicle going in a controlled side ways motion. You must keep working the gas pedal in a fashion that keeps the rear wheels spining, the vehicle moving forward, but maintaining the direction you are steering. Too much gas, and it comes around, not enough gas, and it doesn't drift. Drifting is when the rear of the vheicle is moving in two directions at once while you control the vehicle around a course. A very strong engine is best as it will spin the rear wheels easily. A vehicle that is light weight in the back end is best for this sport, and higher than normal air pressure in the rear wheels will aid in the vehicles ability to spin & drift.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

Swift Lxi is a front wheel driven car. Yes, drifting can be done in this car but you should install ABS. Drifting is when the rear wheels of a car slide when making a high speed turn. But without ABS wheels may get locked up!

Obviously so that you don't drag the back half of the car down the road. Try driving a fwd car with no rear wheels and tell me how that goes lol.

There are cars that drift then there are not. Swift LXI is front wheel drive and is not Swift as the name implies. 350Z nissan is a good choice. Holden Manaro or commodore. Lot's of fuel guzzeling motor with plenty of power and plenty of rear tires.
