Let me rephrase (sorry). Nigel Stock, Steve McQueen, James Garner, Attenborough, James Coburn and Angus Lennie. Odd one out and WHY?

Absolutely Blochead - J. Leyton had a few hits however - thats not the answer. Stick to the film.

3 people escaped over the border.

2007-09-01 22:34:50 · update #10

The answer is: Steve McQueen - he never wore a uniform while in the camp. Everybody else did in some part. Steve wore a German uniform later after escaping.

I'll go with "Dickie Attenborough" since he doesn't actually go by that name but the other actor's names are correct.

If that's not what you're looking for I'll say Steve McQueen because his character went back to the POW camp.

Haven't watched the movie since like ten years ago..... would have to sit on this one, opal.

Edit: Attenborugh was a squadron leader....others were simply flight officers.

Nigel Stock- He never played a role in a war movie after "The Great Escape"
