heh!!!!
ask me about it

well it's not exactly me ...but it's my dad

once i was like 6 or 5 i guess
so we were living in a pinhouse in venezuela
then 2 men knocked the door
the made went to see who is it..she could see anyone cause it was dark infront of the elevator
she opened the door
then entered 2 men with guns
put her aside
then entered *my dad just finished getting dressed and we were still in the pijis*
so then we could do nothing *they were armed*
my mom,the made, and us *the kids* stood by the wall
one was keeping an eye on us
and another went to teh room with my dad
then they took the money
and left
we could do nothing
but as they left we called the police
and i never asked about what happened next

that was the incident i most remember

peace !!!!!!!

A pickpocket stole my wallet out of a tote bag in Manhattan. He just reached in and grabbed it!

In Queens someone broke into my locked car by breaking the lock. He stole the infant seat, a box of 108 packages of Starbursts that I won in a game show, and my bag of garbage.

In Portland, OR I had a car stolen while it was parked on the street near my workplace.

Several years later, also in Portland, I needed my car repaired. I left it at the repair shop which was connected to a 24-hour gas station. One of the gas station employees took it. My guess it that he was planning to go on a joyride and return it, but he was speeding and a policeman tried to pull him over and he led the cop on a high speed chase until he drove my car into a tree.

My husband-at-the-time once borrowed my laptop for a trip. He left it on a seat in an airport "for just a moment" and it was not there when he turned around or whatever.

In Vancouver someone broke into my car by smashing the window. Stole a lot including my laptop, my daughter's textbooks and a lot of other stuff.

Yes. When we lived in Chicago, I left with the kids to go do laundry...I was gone for about one and a half hours and when I came home, the door was partly open...we went inside and saw that our apartment had been broken into. All of our drawers were open and had been rifled through...everything that was worth anything was gone. TV, stereo, my husband's laptop, cds, videos, some of my jewelry....
It was a scary feeling, but at the same time, it was almost laughable...they must have been sorely disappointed when they saw how little we had...
