I still say the Mets have the East covered regardless of the Phils sweeping them and only 2 games back. The Phils are too hurt, and wildly erratic when it comes to streaks (one week, they are winning like there is no tomorrow, the next, they are playing like the Washington Nationals).

The Braves on the other hand, I think they are about toast. A sweep will do them in IMO

Well I know one thing that would hurt our chances really bad. But I would say we would still be in it. I doubt we will get swept though, Today's we will probably lose but Sunday its John Smoltz vs. Tom Glavine. Great pitching match up could go either way. I say don't give up on the Braves just yet. I mean Bobby Cox has came back from things like this before. 91. Remember that year. Well GO BRAVES

well its all said and done and the mets swept the braves. i think that the braves are probably done but the phils come to town next so we'll see. it depends. im a mets fan but if i had to predict, i'd say the phillies take the crown.

Why even ask? They have been done all year in my estimation. But ya if the Mets even take 2 from them, the Braves will be pretty much out.

I truthfully have grandchildren yet not from my very very own teenagers considering the fact that i'm merely 21 and single yet I truthfully have them from my cousins' teenagers' infants. for this reason,we are actually not close. P/s: i think maximum grandparents injury their grandchildren particularly the grandmas because of the fact I see my mom did a similar element to my niece and nephew.

Yes, the braves are done if they get swept... I think they would need to win about 85% of their games to even have a chance if they get swept.

Who knows. We're getting into September now and this is where it all the stuff goes down. I think if they get into a hot streak, they could have a shot at the wild card, but as for the division...it just doesn't seem likely.

The Mets have the Phillies on their tail. They need to get the bullpen pitching good. Mota needs to go find his steroids.
