I bought a towel/washcloth set when I was 9 weeks pregnant. It was a duck. Turned out to be baby's favorite.
My most special part was when we found out she was a girl. My mother pulled out a trunk and inside was my entire nursery set, down to sheets! I replaced the sheets, but the decorations went up, and I even got a white Jenny Lind crib just like mine was.

I waited till after my infant bathe to initiate procuring maximum of our infant issues (apart from some crammed animals and outfits that have been too amazing to stand as much as!). i replaced into 26 weeks at my infant bathe. i'm almost 35 weeks and we nevertheless have not got each little thing yet, neither is the nursery waiting, yet we've each and all the requirements. Newborns extremely do not desire all *that* plenty, as a rule basically some diapers & wipes, outfits, a carseat, and someplace to sleep. while you're making plans on nursing then you definitely do not even desire bottles, pacifiers, or formula, although you probable WILL prefer a minimum of a pair of nursing bras, nursing pads, and a sturdy nipple cream like Lanisoh. Breast pumps could be rented in case you do not prefer to purchase one up front.

My mum was paranoid about miscarriages and told me not to get too excited, so i waited till 15 weeks and started buying little things everytime we went to the supermarket...eg baby bath, lotion, dummies, nappies. and as we went along, i started buying cots, pushers, and car seats at around 25-30 weeks. But have a list of things you need, and things you want. that way you can let people know what you need/want and cross them off as you go.
good luck
