My friend this year had an abortion and she was 19. Her reasonings were dumb, but in some sense understandable. Her parents were conservative, her culture prevented any sorts of behavior. She thought of having the kid but she knew she couldnt provide any type of life by herself especially with her boyfriend. I'm not sure where i stand, but i see her drown in depression. I sometimes want to blame her, but i'm not sure how to console her..or react to her.

This is not easy for anyone however this happened to me. It was the only thing i could do I cried myself for night before the abortion actually on the day i was crying and it didn't help when they put me in with pregnant women. Woke up from it all crying and i felt very down empty ashamed and alone. I was lucky i had excellent friends around me that supported me. If you are a true friend put your morals to one side and help her you may need her some time to be there for you.
hope it helps

I believe that everyone has a choice. In hindsight your friend will find that this was a wise choice. By making this choice she is free to continue her life until the right man comes into her life, she can marry and have a family.
Support her through this and let her know that the decision she has made is the right one for her.
Good luck

they think that having an abotion is the answer, but the truth is they will regret it the rest of thier life,if they have sex and get pregnant ,they should have the child even if they have to put it up for adoption. It does something to the body and mind when one has an abotion, that is just not what God had intended to happen.she was ready for sex she should have been ready to except the responsibity of that child.

It happens all the time, girls are haunted by what they have done, all you can do is be a friend, neither condemn or condone, she is in great pain.
