More disappointed that the Dons lost. At least it was a better season then last year and they didn't go out on the bottom of the ladder.

i'm not angry about it, i picked West Coast in the tipping comp.

It's dissapointing that both Sheedy, and Hird went out on a loss and it would have been nice for them to get the win, but i'm not angry about the result.

I'm more angry that Hawthorn got thumped on the weekend

Yeah I would have liked to see Essedon win For their two stars. But it was at the worst time for the eagles. Port were certain to win. And if west coast lost they could drop to 5th. There was a lot on the line. If the Bombers were playing any other team I would have gone for them. West Coast's last quarter was disappointing though. I'm glad west coast won, even though it wasnt a fairytale ending.

He hates being poor or something maybe? I've been there, but even when I was flat busted at a Christmas one year, my wife and I ( before we had a kid) spent $15 on each other at a dollar store. I bought her a plastic bowl set and some cheap perfume. I don't even remember what she bought me. Is that bad? Hey, maybe he sees you as being too expectant at holidays. Maybe he never had holidays growing up. Maybe he's just a jerk. Show him by doing absolutely NOTHING. for his birthday, or Father's day. If it's your birthday today then tell him all you want for your birthday is his honest answer as to why he doesn't give a shjt. Oh' yeah', if he's so uncaring then why in the hell are you even with him in the first place? That's your fault. You did say fiance'. Dump him. Enough already.

Are you serious, you want a team to lose just because you want Sheedy to have a win on his last game - especially when they had a chance at second spot on the ladder ???

The Eagles did a fantastic send off for them both, a video montage, speeches and Hird was presented with the match ball whilst Sheedy was given a jacket of both Bombers and Eagles colours.

You won't need a win to honour them...

No, though I'm an Eagles supporter. The best team won on the day, if anything, you should be annoyed that Richmond won last week, in front of 88,000 people for their last match in Melbourne.

Still, I'm happy that Scott Lucas in particular didn't give up, and wish Hirdy and Sheeds all the best in their future, as they've done wonders for the Essendon Footy Club.

I'm just happy to see West Coast embarrassed like that.
Hope they have a clean pair of shorts for the next game.

As much as I dislike West Coast ....and as much as I like Essendon ... I guess the best team won on the day, ..

so I guess I would have LOVED the Bombers to have won ..

I was really hoping the Bombers would squeeze past them but I guess they can at least be proud of making the Eagles look pretty ordinary.
