Well I've been in that position.
I'm a sophomore in college now.
Just get through the last year...you're in honors so it shouldn't be a big problem for a smart cookie like you.
Oh yeah and enjoy it while you can.
When you get to college...the real stress begins. =) I mean yeah along with some amazing times...probably the most amazing times of your life!
Kudos!

The legal age is 16 in Canada, so that takes away the problem of statutory rape. I'm 14 years older than my partner, but then I'm in my mid 50s and he's in his early 40s which gives us a lot more life experience in common. If anything, he's the "brake" on my impetuosity, and when I'm all gung-ho to go skydiving from a plane he's the one who will remind me I had my knee replaced just six months ago and is skydiving REALLY such a good idea! If I were going to make a suggestion: work on becoming friends -- and very good friends, at that -- before even considering introducing sex into the relationship. You already have a good deal of life experience which he doesn't; and one thing which is common among gay and straight guys is that our first real romantic and sexual experience is really intense and it's real easy for us to get our hearts broken. He may be gorgeous, and look and act like an adult, but he is still 16 years old. I'm not saying that you shouldn't have a relationship with him at some point, but I don't think you want to risk breaking his heart, especially while the two of you are sharing a lease -- so my suggestion would be to GO SLOW.

I was in your position 19 years ago (ouch!) and I remember being so excited about going into my final year, but nervous too as i knew it was going to be hard work.
In the UK the final year is when you sit your exams which in a way create the path for the rest of your life, and it's a lot of pressure on a 16 year old!!
My advice to you is enjoy every minute and work as hard as you can, this is one of the most important years (and the most enjoyable) of your life.
Good luck and all the best for the future, I'm sure you will make the right choices, just go with your gut feeling.

I was in your position about 48 years ago.
You can make mistakes at your age and recover from them. Being a high school senior is a lot of fun. Enjoy the experience. Nothing else will ever be quite like it, not even your senior year in college.
I think you'll be just fine. Have fun and don't worry too much about these things.

Next year is my last year of high school. I will feel exactly what you state above, I guess.....
Scared of incoming events, things, situations and decisions that I will make.
Hope both of us will survive well!

Get excited on your LAST day of your last year of high school. Otherwise you'll be hysterical midway through the year and blow a few brain cells. It is exciting though, good luck!!

i would be excited, but sad for it to end. And i would fear making the wrong choices to. I would hate to be separated from all my friends that i met in school and go to collage, where you have to pay you own bills, buy your own food, and pay your own rent. I would be sad to be giving up Childhood...good luck!
