I've always wondered this, and always been scared to ask it.
weird question, i know.

But, you know 'down there' are you meant to shave or something or NOT?

if so, how much? how little? how many times? and so on.

answers&replies appreciated.

Only do whatever you are comfortable with. There is no "supposed".

Being unshaved used to be the fashion; now being shaved is becoming fashionable, but plenty of people don't do it.

Give it a try if you want - a lot of people find it too much effort and/or get razor burn and itching - but others like it. It will grow back if you prefer it like that.

When you get a boyfriend, you can ask him what he prefers - different guys like different things. There is no rule for what "guys like".

I leave mine.

Yes, you can shave.

It is all a matter of preference, some people like to just leave their pubic hair and let it grow, some people like to trim it round the edges, and some people just get it all off.

I shave round the edges (so you can't see ti when wearing a bikini or something) and I get the nail scissors and trim it very short so that it isn't like a jungle down there. I shave it once a week and trim it every couple of weeks (2-3 weeks).

Although shaving can cause irritation, it is by far the cheapest (and maybe the easiest). Waxing is also quite a popular way of getting rid of pubic hair, and so is depilatory cream.

Do whatever you feel comfortable with! Hope this helps xo

It is completely your own decision. It makes it easier on you when you get your period but the first few times it itches like heck! It is your own choice to make and if you decide you wanna do it than just make sure you do it carefully with some form of shaving cream and a clean new razor, try different things like a Mohawk or a the bare look. Have fun, it's just hair, it will grow back.

That's entirely up to you! It's your decisions to make and no one is forcing to do this or that. It's whatever suits you the best. You can either shave it bald but it'll be itchy for couple days or just trim it to make it look neat. I use a bikini trimmer to trim. And you can shave/trim as many times you want. The pubic hair grows faster than the hair on your head! Good luck!

No, it's not required that you must shave down below in the pubic area. It's a matter of personal choice. When I did it on a regular basis I did it about every 3 or 4 weeks but I now clip the hairs with a pair of scissors to keep myself from having problems with ingrown hairs again.

It's not compulsory. It's entirely up to you whether you shave it or leave be or shave the bikini line or whatever. Nobody can make you do it if you don't wish and nobody can make that decision for you. Some females choose to do so and others don't. If you do it can be itchy when the hairs starts to grow back.

It's all up to you really. When I started being sexually active I started shaving and I shave all of it off. EVERYTHING. So it's nice and smooth. Most guys like that, or neat. If you get a boyfriend and want to please him you can find out what he likes. Or just do it however you want. and whenever you feel it needs to be done.
Just make sure to use a good razor. DO NOT USE AN ELECTRIC RAZOR!!

A lot of bother for little gain. You keep getting the 'five o'clock shadow'. And gets rough and scratchy as it grows out. A bit nicer for 69?

well the way i think of it, youre not supposed to shave it because hair grows "down there" to protect dirt from getting in "down there". yea, we've all heard that guys like it shaved, but better safe than sorry, right?

I'm a guy and have been shaving off all of mine for a long time. It is cleaner and neater and can eliminate odor problems too.
