Menstrual blood doesn't just contain blood, but tissue among other things. It's not what the Red Cross needs. They need pure blood, straight from the veins. I'm a woman who doesn't like needles, but at the same time, I don't mind them. Dealing with a needle to be able to give blood is a small sacrifice that can potentially help multiple others. And just a reminder, some men don't like needles either.

Menstrual blood is waste from the body when an egg is not fertilized. There is no useful basis for keeping the body's run-off. Many folk don't like needles so this is not of real concern. As a woman, I would give blood toward anyone who was in need. "Waste material" would never be accepted for any purpose. On that point, know this, What shall we then say to these things? Nope. It's not just blood but also tissue. If women don't like needles, they shouldn't donate blood.
