"The United States recently signed a deal on Thursday to boost its military aid to Israel to 30 billion dollars over the next decade."

Yet this country was unable to save the victims of Katrina and still to this day can not provide adequate aid to displaced residents of New Orleans.

The education system is continuing to crumble in this country.

The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

The U.S. is continuing to go into astronomical debt in loans held by China for its involvement in the Iraq quagmire.

Israel is said to have the world's fifth most powerful military but, the U.S. still sends billions of tax payer's money to them.

Why is the U.S. continuing to be puppets to the powerful Israeli lobby?

Your last sentence gives the reason. Jews are in charge of virtually all institutions in the US, excepting of course the ones the Chinese are in charge of...

Israel is a terrorist state by any definition of the term - the type of country the US is supposed to be waging war on. But dictatorships and terrorists are just fine when they serve a purpose for the US - witness Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

It's all stinking double standards.

Would you please post your proof of these actions or are they simply "heresy"

I agree the education system is crumbling and so expensive few can afford it or, it takes a lifetime to repay the loans.

As for the rich getting richer, that's their prerogative, good for someone making money, don't be so jealous and look for the smaller things in life to make you happy or, work harder.

As for these others, that goes both ways, we have to have trade agreements.

The people of New Orleans haven't helped themselves, most cannot even be found, the funds for their welfare have disappeared, over 129 million dollars, where have the people gone.

Some questions to ask instead of pointing the finger.

I will take a stand on the "Back to back" with Israel, it's the only country that was able, willing and ready to go, in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the only country.
One day they will be our strangest ally and be willing to die next to our young men and women. It will happen.

I totally support Israel, for any number of reasons. The money we send to aid them is a drop in the bucket compared to what we waste on pork barrel projects in this country.

I would partly agree with you on your point about China, but much of that is due to business decisions in this country, not government policy.

There are lots of things we could do to improve our economy. I don't think there is any valid argument against our continuing our current involvement in Iraq, although I think we could do a few things to make it more effective.

We need to end our dependence on foreign oil, and we need to restore more of our manufacturing base. But Israel, like Japan, is much more of a friend in these issues than a problem.

Well providing aid for those that will stand by sure sounds better than giving away money to those that only criticize the U.S., so I'm fine with it. The Katrina victims have gotten aid and continue to do so, if they don't like what's happening with the money pouring in they should look at their own voting record for electing incompetent idiots to local post.

...Israel is all we've got in the Middle East... I'd give them everything "they" need... the "day" is coming when "we" will be standing "back to back" with Israel, surrounded by all those "camels".....

Now, about the funding for U.S. problems... ask your Congressmen(woman)... if "they" would take "their" little "pet" spending projects out of the "Bills" that are being passed (...and their mid-night pay-raise)... build (1) less Aircraft carrier, (1) less Nuclear Ballistic Missile Submarine and park the Space Shuttle for (1) year and change the Tax structure to 10% for EVERYONE... we'd be swimming in money to pave the streets with gold....

(sarcastically) how can they possibly do that when there isn't enough money for health care, education, medicine for the sick and elderly, money to fix low income housing and run down neighborhoods, etc.....surely that is just a rumor, because the US government would never waste hard working tax dollars on that................
doesn't it just piss you off!!! It does me!!
