I stopped growing when I was 10 (I'm 23 now). My doctor said I imagined it and that I would have still been growing after, even though I've been measuring myself at the same height every year, so noo I did not imagine it.

Anyway, I know that the normal age for girls to stop growing is around 16-18, so why did I stop so early?

I stopped growing upwards when i was 12 or around then so i don't think that you are abnormal or anything.

Maybe in very rare cases but a doubt it, 10 is very young and they havent even hit puberty and stuff. You were only a little girl its too young to stop growing fully you probly just grew slowly coz you were tall wen you are 10 lol. My mum gets mad when i say iv stopped growing [Im 15] .But 15-16 is average age but 10 is way too little !

my grandmother and great aunt both stopped growing when they were 9. my grandmother was 5'2 and my great aunt was 4'11. But they started puberty very early. They got their periods when they were 7 and were heavier when they did, about 145lbs. And girls stop growing a few years after they get their period. Maybe that's why you stopped growing so soon.

Yes, it is possible to stop growing at that age. The most common reason I've heard is that the pituitary gland stopped working.

not everyone is the same so really you shouldn't worry unless you are having some side affects or health issues.
