I'm also having a boy and agree that the selection sucks. I dont want dump trucks, footballs or airplanes splashed all over the shirts. It looks ghetto, cheap. I think someone needs to start an inexpensive line of clothes for boys that is different from all the crap we're seeing.

I don't have any sons myself but I've heard a lot of complaints from parents of sons about the limited selections in their clothing. They say there are racks and racks of pretty girl clothing but it's hard to find anything good for boys, especially if you're not interested in dressing them in sports-themed outfits.

Good luck finding baby clothes without trains, puppies, and footballs. I can't find anything like that! Actually, baby gap is th eonly place that has some clothes without trains, puppies, and footballs.

Play @ Planet Funk sells the cutest trendiest baby clothes EVER. www.planetfunk.com Also, Nordstrom sells really cute baby boy clothes-- small paul, disney couture, funny & clever graphic tees (star wars, beatles, ABCD, etc), band tees, etc. What's cool is you can buy for your baby boy now, and if you change your mind u can return it later.. cuz you know, nordstrom has the best return policy ever. Oh, and their kids shoes section is great too.

For starting off, Carter's has some good basics. Even as he grows you can use their basic colors and match them with others.
I find some good clothes sometimes at Costco
Aside from that JC Penney is a good place to look.
