If this actually happened, you wouldn't be on an internet forum looking for help.

Yes, at least call an emergency vet clinic. If it was lovastatin , and depending on the dog's size / weight, you should be ok. He'll have low cholesterol for a while.

Make sure your dog doesn't keep doing this:

Vestibulocochlear Wallerian-like degeneration and retinal ganglion cell chromatolysis were also seen in dogs treated for 14 weeks at 180 mg/kg/day, a dose which resulted in a mean plasma drug level (Cmax) similar to that seen with the 60 mg/kg/day dose.

Call the vet...most have emergency numbers. If you cannot find a vet...call the ASPCA or Poison Control...both are open 24/7

hi! if ur dog's eaten the cholestrol tabs. then do one thing.... take a glass of water and mix lots of salt in it and then make him drink that. if he doesn'y drink then force him to drink it or with a syrienge u can feed him.... but u shud mix lots of salt! and then he wud vomit.... though all the pills won't ccome out after he vomit's but it will help to reduce the danger! he'll get well soon... dont worry!
