Yes we CAN. In fact, it is more likely that we would live IN Mars than on its surface. Recent observation has indicated the likelihood of vast caverns beneath the surface.

Many of the hurdles of terraforming could be resolved by establishing a colony beneath the deadly sand storms and radiation of the surface.

Simply – no! Not at the moment anyway.
However, it may be possible in future, who knows.

The first problem is travel. Travelling to Mars is no easy feat - it’s not just a matter of jumping in your car and lets go!
If we managed to make it that far, the next two major factors would be air and water. Overcoming just these three problems alone will be a major inhibiting factor.

These are just the first of very basic and immediately obvious problems, there are literally millions of factors to consider. Problems though, exist to be overcome and there could (not will) be a day when it does happen. For now though we will have to be satisfied with slowly destroying Earth first!

Yes and No. You can't go walking around like on Earth, you would die from lack of air(oxy). If there was some kind of housing that was built sure, we could all live on mars!
Hope that helped :-D
