29-{5+3[8.(10-8)]-50}

now the period is suppose to be a dot in the middle. i couldn't find a key to properly put that, and I know I need to multiply that.

29-{5+3[8*(2)]-50} =
29-{5+3[16]-50}=
29-{5+48-50}=
29-{53-50}=
29-3 =
26 is your answer.

29 - [ 5 + 3 (16) - 50) ]
29 - [ 5 + 48 - 50 ]
29 - [ 3 ]

first 10-8 = 2
then 2 times the 8 = 16
next 16 times 3 = 48
5+48-50=3
29-3=26

order of operations
1 do what ever is in the parenthesis starting with the deepest level
2 order of operations
multiplication & division.
last addition & subtraction

29-[5+3(8*2)-50]
=29-[5+48-50]
=29-(53-50)
=29-3
=26

=29-{5+3[8.2]-50}
=29-{5+24.6-50}
=29-20.4
=8.6
