I am trying not to get my hopes up too much, but i was suppose to start my period on the 30th, but still havent. My period is hardly ever late. I felt like i was going to start but never did. Now i am having these awful pains in my side and stomach. I took a pregnancy test today just for the heck of it and there was a real faint negative line, not dark at all. I am thinking that it was maybe too early or....maybe i am just late for my period.
I had a pap smear done last month and it caused my period to come 2 weeks early, but it should be back on track now.
I want a baby so badly, but dont want to get my hopes up. Anyone have any idea of what could be going on with me?

It could be ANYTHING honey - you are a bit overanxious, understandably, but you're going to have to muster a little patience here.
1. If the pain isn't gone by Monday, give your doctor a call
2. Wait a week. (Yeh I know - a WEEEKKK??? LOL) and take another test if there is still no sign of your period.
3. Relax. Getting super-stressed is not going to help your chances of pregnancy at all.

You need to quit worrying so much. The stress your placing on yourself is what s making your cycle different. The intrusion of the pap probably messed with your cycle and the rest was probably stress induced. Kick back , relax and keep on trying ! Good luck and may you and your child be blessed.

a couple days late, maybe its just gas. but maybe if you were a month late and had the same tummy pains, then you could maybe look forward to being preganant. but right now, its really early. like you said, dont get your hopes up. sorry babe.

wait a couple of days and then take another test. also, when you take the test try to do it first thing in the morning when you have a full bladder i know it sounds gross but because your urine will be really concentrated it has a better chance of reading correctly. hope this helps!
