Yeah, it is not as easy as they say, plus you can never get the color right either. So if you can find someone that does it everyday then you might stand a good chance.

Contact a used car dealer, they have people that they know that does work for them repairing dashboards. Also rips in seats and all kinds of other things.

good luck.

Usually kits like that require you to have the skills of a craftsman. Most people can't do that sort of thing. There are some companies that sell custom fit dash covers for most car models. They can be cloth, vinyl, plastic, or whatever. Some of them are designed to cut glare in bright sun, which is handy. Paying someone to repair your dash may or may not be worth the money. It really depends on the place. Getting any kind of work done is pretty expensive these days. Good luck!

Check on line under Year One, there's places that sell complete replacement covers, repair kits are worthless.

There was a vinyl repair kit available on the market. i'm not sure if it still is. If you have a look in the phone book under plastic welding if not in the book try your local motorcycle shop they have farings plastic welded or perhaps ask a local motor trimmer they may have some answers for you..

Go to Yellow pages and look up -DETAILING this is a job where you fix up cars.
If too expensive try some of following
- rub olive oil on cloth into all dash-board particularly where cracks
- rub ash, from cigarettes into marks on leather then wipe with oil
-rub with eucalyptus oil to prevent further damage and to make smell nice.
Hope this helps but try find DETAILER first.
