I had a hystorectomy 8 years ago. Which put me in early menopause. I read in a artical that women who are in menopause weight can flucuate by 20 pounds. I want to know if this is true & can I change it? I just want to maintain my weight.

It is true that the weight can fluctuate greatly after a hysterectomy because of the changes going on inside the body as a result of the surgery. As for the part about every 6 months I haven't heard that.

I would recommend talking to your doctor as well for additional information to see what they say.

You just have to keep eating healthily because it happens to most women when they get their menopause
