Duh, that's the whole point of the Celsius measurement it is BASED on water.
0 degrees Celsius = the freezing point of water.
100 degrees Celsius = the boiling point of water.
The entire Celsius scale is solely based on the freezing and boiling points of water. Water determines the scale and it is taken as a standard. A meter is defined as the wavelength of light for a specific element. Both are standards just as the length of the kings foot used to be the standard for the English unit Foot.

At normal pressure the answer is correct. But according the altitude the pressure will vary .Accordingly the freezing point and boiling point of water will vary.
