A lot of my thunder has been stolen here, esp. by old Spooky but I'll list mine anyway. :-)

Bauhaus - Ziggy Stardust - Bowie should be very proud.
Bauhaus - Third Uncle - likely better than the original.
Nine Inch Nails - Physical (You're So)
Murderdolls - White Wedding
Marilyn Manson - Down in the Park
Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love
Type O Negative - Cinnamon Girl
Type O Negative - Summer Breeze - also better than the original, sorry Seals & Crofts.
MSI - Tom Sawyer
Fear Factory - Cars - And they were nice enough to invite Gary Numan back to the party.
Moby - That's When I Reach For My Revolver
Jawbox - Corn Flake Girl
AFI - Halloween
White Zombie - I'm Your Boogieman - probably the only good thing to come out of The Crow 2.

Again, I would have to say 'All Along The Watchtower'. I love Bob Dylan but Jimi did it better.

I've said before but I still think 'Hurt' is one of the best covers I've ever heard.

I'm not a fan of No Doubt but I liked their cover of 'Come On Eileen'

Anything by Pearl Jam.

Easy-Faith No More. Janes Addiction-Sympathy For The Devil, Tricky-Black Steel.

I like all of the Ramones' covers except Surfin' Bird I could live without. On Acid Eaters I think I like

Have You Ever Seen the Rain (originally CCR)
Somebody to Love (originally Jefferson Starship--or Jefferson Airplane?), and
7 and 7 Is (originally by Love)

the most. But they are all great.

Definitely "All Along The Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix originally by Bob Dylan. Dylan's version is great, but Hendrix's version is literally melting.
