Okay well there is the mainstream techno and then there is the good underground techno. I live in the bay area in CA (close to S.F.) and my favorites are Jeno, www.djjeno.com ; DJ Dan is pretty popular now, but he's really really good, ; Doc Martin is tha sheeeaat ; umm that's all I can think of right now, but try those. GL! :)

Listen to any of the internet radio stations at www.di.fm (open the radio streams using Winamp). You'll find an immense variety of artists, and you should be able to pick for yourself what you like.
