Hot is in the eye of the behold.
The prognosis is not good. Anyone who is addicted is unwilling to face reality. In the their quest for immediate gratification, they set in motion a chain of events that will bring about misery in the future.
In their inability to deal with reality, they only seek pleasure hoping to avoid pain. They never realize that the pain they suffer is induced by their own thinking.
Have you ever heard of a "lounge lizard". These are the type of men that people can become given your description. A sad life.
Marriage is not the solution, but dealing with reality is.
