what's your opinion on blind dates...... DO or DON'T?

Don't. I hate meeting people for the first time, and knowing that it's someone who may be considering you as a date would make it worse.

When my husband was killed in a car accident and about a year had passed, I went on a few blind dates. I hated going on them. They made me too nervous. I would worry myself so much before the date got there and then I never felt that comfortable the entire time. I had more luck meeting men on my own, that way I knew in advance who I would be going out with and was not nervous and ended up having much better dates.

Any blind date nowadays are Dangerous and must be seen as such.It is better for a friend and yourself to qualify a blind date,than it is to try and imagine what would happen.My answer is no for both men and women.

Do, only if you have checked the other person out, and have some idea as to what you are getting yourself involved in. Don't. if you find out 2 negatives for each positive. If it's going to be a bad fit, go to a movie instead, or read a book or whatever.
