Backed then if you didn't have enough talent, you didn't get notice. Well now it's the exact opposite, if you have to much talent, you won't get recognized, and if you have no talent, you'll most likely be in the Billboard top 50, Examples Hurricane Chris and that soujia *****, are talentless rappers, but they get all the love, and you have Joell ortiz, barely getting recognized, except for hip-hop heads. When did all that start??

Crunkness: where do you draw the line between "entertaining" and staying true to the music, the entire genre of hip hop?

thats the problem, you represent part of our ignorant youth that just want to be entertained, you think Nas or Rakim gives a *** if you are entertained? do you think Lupe Fiasco gives a *** if you are entertained? go switch over to pop music if you want entertainment...I dont give a *** how entertaining someone is, if you're just gonna feed some nursery rhymes to everyone, whats the point?

They dont get love BECAUSE they suck, the get love in spite of it. And people with a lot of talent like Talib, don't get recognized because he doesn't "sell out" enough. He doesn't make music that is popular.... so even though he and guys like him have a lot of skill, their music isnt liked my many therefore he doesnt get record sales. But these talentless rappers get themselves a good beat and people are standing in line to give em money..

Radio playlists are designed for girls between the ages of 15-34. They are the only ones going out and buying albums. Most guys just download them. Start buying albums and you'll hear your favorite artists on the radio.
