Labor Day 2000. I pulled the motor home into a PowWow at 1am where the guys waved me in to park. I jumped out of the driver's seat into a fire ant mound. They were in my moccasin boots, under my skirt and up to the bra line. That was one helluva dance let me tell you. I had over a hundred bites! Someone moved the motor home...I was in the lake. I took two benydryl and passed out. In the daylight the mound was measured...over 8 feet across....and duly roped off so the other attendees did not step in it. Talk about taking one for the team...I sure did.
