Are you less likely to give a star if the questioner asks for it?

More likely. I always give a star when a questioner asks for it. On the other hand, I would never give a Best Answer to someone who asked for it in one of the answers given. I do give stars, though, for good questions, by myself, without anyone asking for them. :o)

Yes,because if the question deserves a star then there should be no need for the person asking the question to request a star.

Less likely. People have a better chance of getting more stars if they just ask a question everyone loves. but still stars dont matter its not like people juage how much stars you have.

I just give it. A star is one of the only things in this world that I can give for free!!! 'oh no what if it takes points' that is it no more stars! jk

Less likely.....because stars, like best answers, should be earned rather than just given away.

To the several who actually ask for stars, my answer, and it still is, only unless you earned one. I think it is pathetic for people to have to beg for stars without earning them.

Life is about earning -not about handouts but alot of people sure expect them without making any serious effort.!

I refuse to give them one, unless the question just knocks me off my feet, but it has to be that good.I dont like beggers and that is what they are if they are asking for stars:)

I give stars because I am nice. If they ask, then sure... Unless it is undeserved....
