Get ready for the flight of your life! The 100-foot free fall of the Drop Zone will definitely get your adrenaline pumping. Riders wear specially designed flight suits that connect to cables suspended from two steel archway towers. Fliers are lifted to the top of the towers and are in charge of pulling their own rip cord, hurling themselves into an unforgettable free fall. Fly solo, in a pair, or a threesome - you'll definitely be flying high on the Drop Zone!

Riders must be at least 48" tall.

When you said Drop Zone, I thought you were talking about the drop tower rides (that's what they're called in most of the parks). Those bungee jumping rides are very expensive (sometimes as much as $25 per person). I personally would never go on them because of the cost, and because I don't trust my life in those ropes! I've read too many stories of people riding those only to have one of the ropes break, causing them to plummet to their deaths. I'll pass thank you.

www.rideaccidents.com has lots of stories about ride accidents. Check it out before you go. Good luck if you choose to ride it. Also, check with your doctor, but I would think that if you can ride coasters, you can ride that as well.

O CRAP UR GONNA RIDE THAT!111 I love roller coasters but hate heights... kinda ironic but makes sense because I feel alot safer riding on steel than hanging over 100 feet with only a rope I worked at a theme park once and they had this ride The worst part of it is you have to pull a rope in order to actually drop Id be to nervous to even move

Isn't Drop Zone a tower ride? The ride I think your talking about is called Sky Flyer,
But anyways if you have high blood pressure I wouldn't recommend going on it. If you could handle the other intense rides you will be okay though.
It is A LOT of fun and well worth the extra money.
Have fun!

About the high blood pressure.. you will have to ask a doctor to be completely safe. If you have ridden other thrill rides, you will probally be fine, but only your doctor can determine how safe you will be.
It is fun, and you will probally be a little nervous your first time. I have done four rides similar to the one you describe here, and I still enjoy riding them.

Looks like bungee jumping to me. i would check with your doctor about the BP but I have no interest in bungee jumping. I dont see these things to be very safe, way to much to go wrong and there seems to be more accidents on them than a regular ride at a theme park.

OMG! I did this at Va. Beach. I am terrified of heights and only did it on a bet. i was so scared on the way up i was crying!! But once I was flying, it was sooo much fun we did it again. So, YES!! you should definately do this.
And as for the ropes, I wouldnt sweat that. The one i rode was strong enough to hold up a car, with people in it. Trust me, I asked before strapping my obese *** into it.
