I like being in a relationship, but everyone is different.

I think it depends on where you are in your life, and how you're feeling that year. It also depends on whether you've met "the one" or not. Once you really fall for someone, you won't want to be single again.

Good luck, I hope you meet someone nice : - )

I prefer being in a relationship, but I am single because I work 2 jobs and take night classes, I have no time for a relationship now.

Well, they both have their pros and cons. In a relationship, you need commitment, and if one or none of the people are committing enough, the relationship could crumble. Also, there are issues of trust, and wondering if they are being unfaithful and such. They make you paranoid and you have to put a lot of time in them. But, the positive thing is that you have someone to love, someone who loves you, and someone you can love back, and it beats loneliness. it can put a dent in your wallet though but whats more important, money or love?

Single, well it has its ups and downs too. Being single means you are more on your own, and it can make you feel lonely, but then again, you have more time to do more stuff, and you have a lot of spare time and you can commit yourself to other important stuff like a good job, or a better and brighter future. Also, accomplishing more would be more better than a relationship, plus you can keep your friends. What if your lover doesn't get along with your friends, you're going to have to choose between the two.

My choice would be Single though, for the above reasons (the pros of being single). I think preparing yourself for the future, career-wise would be more important, that way in the future, when you do get a relationship, you'll have money to pay for stuff. It is better to be prepared than to satisfy a heart hungering for romance.

I enjoy being single a lot more than being in a relationship.

Here are pros & cons for both:

Relationship PROs:
- Someone to do things with (movies, vacation, dinner)
- Someone to help you with physical chores
- Someone you can talk with (well, sometimes)
- Someone to love you back

Relationship CONs:
- Someone else to always consider
- Someone who wants you to do it their way
- Someone who is abusive, selfish, etc.
- Their family + your family - Oh, oh !

Single CONs"
- No one there to help you with physical chores
- You may be lonely - at least at first
- No one to cuddle & spoon with

Single PROs:
- You can do what you want when you want w/ who you want & no one can tell you - NO!
- You save money (not as much electric, water, laundry, food, gas for car, vacation cost, etc.)
- Solitude - wonderful, quiet, calming, beautiful
- You can explore who you REALLY are
- You can dress however YOU want to
- You don't need to put up with all the politics of being in a relationship (moods, families, etc.)
- If you spend more time on your pc than doing housework its okay with you . . .

I like being single right now. Gives me independence. I don't get into arguements, I don't have to worry about someone, I don't have to worry about him being possessive and controlling and a jealous freak.

I like relationships because, then you can have conversations, hug, kiss, make love, tell them you love them, being there for emotional support, supporting each other in other ways than one. I miss being in a relationship sometimes, but at this time of my life, I am not looking for a long term relationship. I am too indpendent right now. I need to do what I need to do for myself and my child.

My child comes first, then me, then the man. My child needs a good role model in his life, and I need a man that is respectful, towards both of us.

relationships can make you much more miserable then being single if it ends bad, dont ever rush into a relationship, pick the right person and focus on making the relationship work. make sure your not the only one doing all the work to keep it alive. dont go find a relationship just for the sake of loneliness, you'll regret it, find someone you can actually see yourself with and that you like.

When ever your in a relationship its like your complete. Like you have someone to turn to in your life. Like you have someone to call late at night just to talk about nothing until the sun comes up. You have that special person who you will love and will do anything for. All the simple things in life matter like walks in the park, cuddling at the movies with that special person, valentines day!!! Oh and the sex!!! Can’t forget about the sex!!! Lol. Everyday your with that person you just feel so alive and everything is so much brighter. The best part is its like your always happy. The down side about being in a relationship is the arguments that you will get into. People who may be jealous of what you have. Either they will try to take it our ruin what you have. If you have trust issues this can pretty much ruin everything. Plus the part where all you can do is think about them where they are not around you. And the worst pain that you will feel in the world when ever you guys break up remember nothing good never lasts forever.

The good thing about being single is that you have time to just be yourself. You don’t have to dress up nice to impress anyone. You can basically flirt with anyone you want. You don’t have to answer to anyone. Your free to do what you want and nothing can hold you back or stop you. The down side about being single if it’s a holiday like Christmas and you see a couple and they look like there in love that makes you said. And you just think about the good times you had when ever you where in a relationship especially if you just broke up with them. And when it comes to sex your pretty much by your self if you don’t sleep around with random strangers..

All in all I think half of me would love to be in a relationship but the other half of me wouldn’t want to tollerate all the B.S. that comes along with it.

I'm really enjoying being single and not looking for a significant other. It's really a big hassle. So I feel like a weight's been lifted.
