conversationally I can get by.

reading a menu i can pick out my favorites, but am lost otherwise. I still need to depend on my wife to describe new things to me. I should apply myself more to reading and writing.

I've studied Chinese for over 10 years. I can understand part of a newspaper, and news broadcast, not fluent enough to understand all of it.

not fluent but still Ok for daily live..and no one will know im foreigner until they found there is something wrong with my accent

My Mandarin is pretty good . Over the phone, you would not know I'm a foreigner until I make a mistake.

Umm...I'm an ABT.
And my Chinese is proficient in Listening and talking.
However, I am okay with reading and writing.
