I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried that tightening cream? Does it work? I know about kegals, I do them sometimes but not very often, I dont really like it because for some odd reason it makes me turned on when I dont want to be! And I think they are kind of uncomfortable... maybe I am doing them wrong I dont know, but I was just wondering about the cream, does anyone know? Im afraid that if I use it i am going to swell up really bad or get some kind of weird infection from it, can this happen? Like an allergic reaction?

So coach is going to share that there are no shortcuts - you have to do the exercise to reap the long term effects.

Kegel exercises (pelvic floor exercises) should not be uncomfortable if you do them right. They may cause some stimulation. They can be done with weights as well. ☺

The key to success is regular repetitions. You simply have to do them and do them regularly or you won't have any benefit. If you want to check whether you are doing them correctly; next time you go to the bathroom to urinate pay attention to the muscles in use. At any point, stop the flow of urine by muscle contraction. That's a kegel.

Now about the creams. Coach doesn't like such shortcuts but for the sake of an informed sexual athlete: The creams that contain as their primary ingredient Alum do indeed "work". It's chemistry and laws of chemistry always work. It works by contracting the skin tissue such that the vagina itself contracts. The effect is temporary.

Now some warnings. Important warnings. These aren't a "drug" so they aren't regulated by the government. That cream could contain anything. It could be badly controlled or it could just contain nasty stuff. YUK

There could indeed be an allergic reaction to things in that cream - some things we don't know what are. It's always best, if you insist, to test in an inconspicuous and not sensitive location.

Also, it often has the effect of not only tightening but also drying the vagina. Nobody wants to have sex unlubricated! It hurts.

So there's some facts for you to weigh. Of course, it's always best to discuss health issues with your doctor. Doc knows more about your body than we here do.

Now, go exercise those pelvic floor muscles. No shortcuts! Work 'em out!

I have never heard of that cream, but I am going to say, DO NOT USE IT...
there is no way it will work, your female area is sensitive and it is considered a muscle, that is why kegals are what is recommened for that area. I would think it would be a waist of money and may cause a bad infection. I would not use it.

Wish I had a better answer and could say, go for it. But, I wouldnt, it is like using that cream for your breasts to make them bigger. hahaaha...NOT.!!!

I have never heard of this product. I would call a doctor though, maybe your obgyn. It may work differently for each person. if you're sensitive down there, I wouldn't use anything. But regardless what anyway says on here I would be safe and call your doc. for advise on this one dear. AEven if someone answers and says they are a doc.

Those creams do not work. If you do the kegels correctly the are not uncomfortable. You can use Ben Wa balls which work well for this.
