A pap smear is a biopsy of the cervix tissue that shows whether a woman has cancer. It is recommended for women under 40 to have every 5 years, and over 40 to have every year. It is minimally painful. There is a transgendered section here on Yahoo! Answers for you.

ok i no you dont need to know but obv. you want to know (even though you dont have to worry about it).... A Pap smear (also known as the Pap test) is a medical procedure in which a sample of cells from a woman's cervix (the end of the uterus that extends into the vagina) is collected and spread (smeared) on a microscope slide. The cells are examined under a microscope in order to look for pre-malignant (before-cancer) or malignant (cancer) changes.

If that's the case, you don't have a cervix, so you wouldn't have to get a pap smear to get tested for different types of displasia associated with cervical cancer and possible stds. Come up with something better next time. 2 points.

a pap smear is basically a test that is usually given to women...but since you are post op, I suppose you could opt for one too. It is used to detect any possible cases of cancer and sexually transmitted diseases.
Usually it is just used to detect any abnormalities within a woman's cervix.
I have included a site that might answer your question more than I am able to. Good luck:)

You don't need to know because you don't really have a cervix.
