my vaginal discharge smells strongly of ammonia. It is so strong that it actually discolours my dark underwear. Last time I went to the doctor I had a PH imbalance, is that what this is?

I guess I should point out I dont have health insurance nor do I have the money to see a doctor at this time. So if anyone has experienced these symptoms please chime in and let me know what exactly it was that you had. I had seen a doctor in the past and they said I had a PH inbalance, is that what this is? Is there anything that I can use to balance my PH? Would that Rephresh work?

The only way to find out what kind of infection you have is to go see a doctor. See one ASAP and get this checked out and treated.

A ph imbalance usually means an infection such as with bacterial vaginosis and needs to be evaluated by a doctor. But because of the financial issue I would recommend checking with your city's health dept to see if they offer a free women's clinic you can go to. If not, check to see if there's a Medical School close by that can help evaluate this situation further for you.

If you can't afford to go to the doctor, I suggest you go to the Health Department or a Free Clinic or something like that. You really do need a doctor, there is no other way to find out what is wrong and fix it.
