NO......What you emotionally needed as a child.....you still need today. Age does not change that. Just be a little more cautious where that comes from.

Never. We are social beings and living without the human touch or having our emotions really listened to by a wise person, is always wanted and needed. We were made human for a reason and we were meant to be loved, feel loved, feel important and valued. We cling to things or words or people that make us feel better. It is nature's way and healthy. Without it.............life is just a void left unfulfilled. No humans around? Try a pet that gives you love unconditionally. See how much happier older seniors in nursing homes react to the petting and lovingness of a pet. It is good psychologically and physically. Like a flower that needs sunlight , food , rain and care., without it.................we will wither away. Only God can fill all of my emotional needs in His time.
