Art is anything that portrays a scene, an idea, an abstract in a way that isn't literal, but as an interpretation of what is pictured, based on the literal image and combined with the painters life history, emotions, creative influence, limitations of the medium, and the current physiological state of the artist.

I like weird statues and things like that! While I was out with a child that has a mental disability we were looking at a strange piece of art in front of our Post Office (it looked like copper that was just bent and scrunched until the artist got tired) and the little boy said "what is that" I told him it was art and he said "ART I can do better than that and I am10" LOL every Man to his own LOL

Anything that moves you emotionally or spiritually simply by seeing or hearing it. Even questionable or distasteful drawings, paintings or songs are art provided that there is some degree of substance and talent behind it.

Art is in the artist's eyes just like beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
If you enjoy and like it, it is art; if not, it ceases to be so.

i hate art. i think there are a lot more important things in the world than art (such as people STARVING, DYING, etc.)... when I think of art, the only thing that I can moderately stand is like.. a painting. I really don't think that dancing/acting is an art. It is an activity. And sculptures, for the most part, are worthless pieces of crap. :)

A painting that definitely resembles the place or person the painter was painting not something that looks like or could be. If the painting is of a horse he must be so real you expect him to start walking when you look at it or actually smell the sea or flowers that you are looking at

I find nature as a whole - how plants, animals (including humans), minerals, water, etc. are structured & interact - to be very artistic & creative.
